Sempurna

Whoa, Indonesian title. Haven't see that for quite some time now. Well, there is a reason why I wrote the title in Indonesian, or Bahasa for some people. Read on folks.

So, before I even tell you why, I'm going to backtrack to last Saturday when I heard a song at the Asian Idol preliminary, or whatever it is, which Mike sang. It's a song by Andra and the Backbone titled "Sempurna". When I heard that song, I felt it's a good one. Later on about two or three days ago, I copied a folder consisting songs from Ricky's computer just because there's this "11 Januari" song by Gigi, which I've been looking for a while. At that time I thought to myself, hey not bad. Well, it's actually far from not bad.

It's great! Why? Because when I browsed the directory, I found out that there's this "Sempurna" by Andra atB. So I listened to it, and the lyric is actually even better when you really listened to it. For those who don't know the lyric, here it is :

Other than that, when I was looking for the lyric of this song, I stumbled across the video in YouTube. It's actually the video clip of the song, plus the lyric so people can sing a long. For those that wanted to sing or even just hearing it, please refer to this YouTube link.

Pretty good stuff eh? My bro said that they are somehow a rock band, but this song is actually kinda acoustic so I enjoyed it even more. So for the moment, I'm into this song and actually learning to sing it. Of course the purpose is for my someone special. *wink*

And when I was writing down this lyric, I thought about people that maybe reading my entries but don't understand Indonesian. I thought, what if they listened to the song but they didn't get the meaning, which will be a complete waste of time and good song. So I took the liberty of writing the song's meaning in English.

What A Relief...

Is what I would like to say but right now not all things are great. Let's see, I still got to catch up with a lot of stuffs that I haven't finished yet for Tanjung's project. And then there's this Disitu site that went offline because I got a query for MySQL that apparently took up too much resource and causing the server to overload, so they blocked our database account. That's really bad though since there's nothing we can do about it even though I already found out the source of the problem and fixed it. So for all Disitu lovers out there, on behalf of all Disitu team, I would like to say we're so sorry for the inconvenience caused.

But surely after I rambled about all that, you wouldn't think that I'm really that desperate right? Of course not, there are also happy news. Such as my mom's back again here in Jakarta. Home-made food is just the best-est you know *wink wink* I also found out this one site where you can download PSX (or should I say PS One?) iso for free. Which means oldies games which I've looking for everywhere are mostly there. Ain't that just cool or what?

But of course what made me happy the most from all those is that I'm finally being approved as my hunny's boyfriend. You know, since we were kinda going backstreet for the last couple months from the beginning, it feels really good to be recognized and not having to sneak around, looking around and hope that no one sees us. So to celebrate this, here's a picture of both of us which is taken a while back ago. Now if only I can find that pic...

Sorry it's kinda blurred, since I'm not the one taking it, plus there's not enough lighting and it's taken using my phone's camera, so there. I did try to make it better in Photoshop but seeing I'm not the expert in that, this is the best I can get, so there (again).

Well, guess that's for now. I'm thinking of coming to office tomorrow since I still got some work left and while I did plan to finish some of it today, I got distracted because of Disitu site so guess I'll be seeing it tomorrow then. For now, I'll just relax a bit while waiting for my hunny to go home so we can chat on the way home. Adios for now.

Stuffs Lately

Let's see, quite a lot happened lately. For one, I went to JHCC to attend the IndoComtech 2007 at last Saturday. We spent a few hours there, watching the overclocking competition, ate some Sate Padang, and body charging with some crowd just to get some comic books. But overall, it's a nice day. Too bad, it made us got sore feet.

Sunday equals religious day for both of us, so it's either JPCC or Ekayana, and last Sunday it's the latter. Went there and prayed for a while and then we went to TA to get my new jacket washed by Laundrette. After that, we had a brief lunch at McD and then we browsed through the new Timezone, which is for kids i guess, judging from the games available and the decorations. Well, shortly after that we went home.

And today, well today is not really a good day, since I felt kinda sick and spent most of the day lying in bed. Well, hopefully by tomorrow I'll get better. Still lots of work to do. And for now, it's resting time, so adios y'all.

A Small Thing Called Widget

Yep, see that small thingy under the Shout Box section? Yeah, that's what we call widget. And it's not just any ordinary widget. It's a widget from Disitu *grin* With this little thingy, now I can read news from Disitu without having to go to the site. Pretty neat huh? *grin again*

So anyway, for those that are accustomed to customizing your own blog or site, mayhaps (maybe/perhaps) you are interested in trying this widget out? It's really easy. Just go to Disitu and read the instructions there, and voila.. a new widget around at your blog or site.

Well, not much from me, as I'm busy with another project in hand, while supervising Sony, the new guy in MAX which handles the Holcim stuff for now, and helping with the joomla and Disitu stuff once in a while. Not feeling pretty well today but don't know why. Maybe just lack of food, that's all *grin*
